Seeking, resume and episode endings
What to expect when moving through a recording or returning to a title.
Use a seekable source
Movies and episodes can seek when their media container and source support it. Live streams generally do not have an on-demand timeline. Catch-up depends on a provider archive; it is not a recording created by VINAM.
Use the player’s forward/back controls or timeline, then allow the requested position to settle. A clock change alone is not proof that video resumed. If seeking fails, retry or return to your library without repeatedly opening more provider connections.
Resume and completion
VINAM saves useful playback progress for reopening a title. A failed seek or premature end should not count as a successful completion, erase trusted resume progress or advance to another episode.
Replay starts the current title again. Previous and Next episode controls use the available series order. Automatic continuation depends on your autoplay setting; explicit watched/unwatched choices remain distinct from automatic completion.
Known verification limits
Some real-provider movie seek and HEVC startup cases remain under investigation. Emulator success does not establish that every TV decoder, archive format or audio output works. Report the title and device without sharing credentials.
