Programme guide and catch-up
Guide data, channel matching, archive availability and timing requirements.
Load the right guide
An EPG needs programme data from your source or an XMLTV guide. Channel identifiers must match that data. An empty guide may mean missing entries, mismatched identifiers, an unsuccessful refresh or an app error; it does not prove that the channel cannot play.
Open Guide before or during a channel to inspect its programme list. Refresh guide data when needed. Check the device time zone if programme times appear shifted.
Replay provider archives
Catch-up is available only where the provider actually supplies archived recordings and the programme is within its retention window. An EPG listing alone does not prove a playable archive exists.
Choose an available past programme and Watch replay. If the recording starts at the wrong time or cannot seek, note the programme, requested time and device time zone. Keep provider timing failures separate from missing guide data.
